In Part 1 of this short-story reading, we were introduced to the main character and narrator of the story, a young man, who in his final hours awaiting his execution, tells the story of his life, focusing on a series of relations he had with various women in his life: Dona Alicia, Edna, Tina, and “finally, most of all, Linda”-whose murder he is being executed for.
In Part 2, Mr. Solis tells of how, as a university student, he met Dona Alicia, the eccentric and wealthy, elderly mother of a friend of his, Alex.
