A few years ago, as I was still recovering from radiation and chemotherapy treatments for cancer, I attended a Shakespeare workshop in Seoul, Korea. Since that part of Seoul, by bus, was more than almost three hours from where I lived, it gave me an excuse to get out, get some exercise, and do something fun, so I attended the workshop once a week for about a month. We all had to choose a Shakespearean monologue, and I chose this one from the play, KING LEAR, I guess because, as a senior citizen myself, I could relate to it. Well, here goes "Monologue from KING LEAR, ACT II, Scene 4."
